Being able to design an effective and well-scaffolded syllabus is an important part of being a teacher. In this video, Professor Robert Lue shares how the backward design framework can be used in syllabus creation. In doing so, Professor Lue explains how a comprehensive, detailed syllabus acts as a contract between a teacher and their students – one that holds both teachers and students accountable for the learning experience.
