Teaching portfolio:

You will complete a total of eight teaching portfolio components (submissions) throughout this course, which will culminate in a teaching portfolio to be assembled at the end of the course. To derive the most value from this portfolio, it is important that you base your submissions on the area (field, discipline, or subject matter) in which you currently teach, or would like to teach.

The second teaching portfolio component is based on the content covered in this unit’s notes. Using this information around active learning techniques and their applications and any additional research you may conduct, you will need to:

  • Detail how you intend to implement an active learning technique of your choice to effectively deliver a piece of content;
  • Justify your choice of active learning technique; and
  • Outline the classroom design required to best support student engagement within your lesson.

To complete this submission, download the Teaching Portfolio Component document below, answer the questions in the spaces provided, and save your completed submission. Then upload the completed submission to the Online Campus for review.
